I joined The Cassisi Law Firm as a legal assistant in 2018. Prior thereto, I was a legal assistant at another personal injury law firm for 2 years during which time I was exposed to case processing only. Upon commencing employment at TCLF, I was made a member of the personal injury team assisting the attorneys in the entire litigation process from the intake of a case to the final closing paperwork of any case. My experience became much more extensive when mentored by the attorneys and paralegals at TCLF. They all actually devoted the necessary time and effort to teach me how to navigate all the issues and scenarios which I routinely face on a daily basis.

I was enlightened by the difference in client-staff relations when the clients are shown compassion and provided with the actual assistance they so desperately need to cope with the loss of income from their accidents and the seriousness of their debilitating injuries that often cause them depression. Having gained a newfound relationship with our clients, my legal experience has developed exponentially and I enjoy the satisfaction that comes with the appreciation exhibited to me by my clients.

I have now expanded my office duties to cover calendar management, client appointments for testing and treatments, preparation of intake and no-fault documents assisting my paralegal team members as needed on a daily basis with the drafting of all legal documents required on all cases, trial preparation of any file with the attorneys, scheduling expert witnesses to testify, assisting the office manager in training new employees on office procedures and any other office duties that arise. In addition, I am a motivated self-starter, accustomed to working independently on various tasks entrusted to me by either the clients or attorneys. Mr. Cassisi has mentored me so as to develop my skills far beyond my original expectations and, perhaps most importantly, he has instilled in me the skills to think outside the box and solve problems creatively despite the nature of the obstacles that I may be faced with each day.
